![]() Radiant Silvergun music only no SFX (or SFX very quiet?), more issues at bosses - crappy 2 button mode with USA bios Puyo Puyo Sun - seems fine - needs jap bios Pebble Beach Golflinks - maybe OK, I don't know the game, playable possible gfx texture pop in issues? Outlaws of the lost Dynasty / Suiko Enbu - playable with glitches I don't know the original, maybe best at 200% speed? Golden Axe the Duel - maybe OK, seems slow but speeds up when speed unlocked in MAME. Also even current MAME doesn't have perfect STV emulation and I don't know most of these games particularly well so grain of salt.Īstra Super Stars has GFX and sound glitches, 480i game? - use generate double to see whole screenīatman Forever has no audio but otherwise seems playable so farĬolumns 97 no sound no controls, 480i game? - use generate double,Ĭotton Boomerang drops sound at the first boss comes back glitched out in level 2 but is playable otherwise.ĭie Hard no sound, otherwise playable - poss scaled wrongĮlan Doree/Fighting Dragon/legend of dragoon - glitchy messįinal Fight Revenge blackscreen once booted - don't bother Menus and start screens may appear very overscanned while the game looks good. Many games used 480i for menus and 240p in game which isn't replicated by AdvMAME 3.9. Some STV testing in AdvMAME on Pi4 notes copied from the 4.3 release thread. 174 will be fine if 215 isn't)(on Pi3 some games have graphics glitches due to being ran in an earlier MAME) Sega System 32 seem good in MAME 215 (one test run I got some slowdown but I think that was related to me messing with my power supply. Taito F3 run great in MAME 0.174 (on Pi3 some games have graphics glitches due to being ran in an earlier MAME)(it's possible these will also work well in 0.215 but I couldn't get them to run for whatever reason) Killer Instinct runs well in MAME 0.078 with the Pi4 overclocked. Overclocking is needed to get the best out of these games. PGM2 runs nicely in MAME 0.215 (seems some games vertical resolution info in mameinfo.txt is not right but this can be fixed)Ĭave CV1000, some games run quite well and are very playable, others seem harder to run and will have a lot more slowdown. ![]() Oddly when running in 480i turning v-sync off will reduce screen tearing in Naomi games. Any games that used card readers or similar (or other odd hardware) will probably give hardware errors and not work. Naomi 2 and Multi Naomi games not supported. Roms from MAME 0.174 seem to be compatible with Flycast (my experience, I'm not sure what the official set is). Naomi & Atomiswave play great in Flycast, with the exception of Trigger Heart Excelica (stutters) and Virtua Tennis (crashes for me after launching, maybe a rom issue). One exception is NBAJam Extreme which I haven't been able to run, possibly due to it having extra audio hardware. Capcom ZN1, ZN2, Taito FX, GNET (requires CHDs, some games will want OC), NAMCO System 10, System 11 (NAMCO system 12 is a bit slow (OC can help a bit) and has some graphics issues in Soul Calibur). ![]() Sony PlayStation based hardware plays nicely in MAME 0.139. Please give suggestions or feedback if you have any. As people are curious to know what the RPi4 can do that earlier Pis cannot I figured I'd start a guide. ![]()
